Exhibits Profile

The product groups on show at FAB Africa 2027

What is on show

FAB Africa covers the beauty and fashion chain rather than a single product group: the products that go on the shelf, the treatments and equipment a clinic or salon runs on, the packaging behind a brand, and the fashion and accessories that sell to the same customer in the same stores.

That combination is deliberate. A distributor building a range, a retail chain planning a season, a salon owner replacing equipment and a brand owner looking for a contract manufacturer are all served in the same hall — and each of them is buying something different.

The thirteen groups below are the show's exhibitor profile. The 2027 floorplan, with the halls each group sits in, is published as stands are confirmed.

Exhibitor profile

Thirteen product groups, from the shelf to the salon to the supply chain behind the brand.

Personal, Body, Skin and Hair Care

The everyday category that fills the shelf: cleansers, moisturisers, body care, shampoo, conditioners, treatments and the brands that carry them.

Aesthetic and Dermatology

Clinical skincare, aesthetic devices and dermatology products — the professional end of the market, sold through clinics, salons and pharmacies.

Fragrance

Attar, eau de parfum, body mists and the regional and international houses that produce them.

Nail Art

Polishes, gels, nail care, tools and art products for salons, nail bars and the retail shelf.

Natural and Organic

Shea, baobab, aloe and other African-sourced ingredients, and the clean-beauty brands built on them.

Beauty Accessories

Brushes, sponges, mirrors, tools, cases and the small-ticket items that sell alongside a brand.

Spa and Wellness

Spa equipment, massage, aromatherapy, body treatments and the services sold alongside them.

Local and International Fashion Designers

Ready-to-wear, couture and emerging labels from Kenya and the region, shown next to the international names.

Jewelry

Fine and fashion jewellery, beadwork and the artisan pieces that sit with fashion in the same stores.

Footwear

Shoes, sandals and leather goods that complete the fashion range.

Textile

Fabric, print, leather and the mills and suppliers behind the garment trade.

Packaging and Equipment

Primary and secondary packaging, filling and salon furniture and equipment — for brands and for salons.

Trade Associations

Industry bodies, chambers and associations representing the beauty, salon and fashion sectors.

The Personal Hygiene Showcase

The 2027 prospectus adds a showcase inside the show: personal hygiene — the products, the technology behind them and the laboratories that test them.

The reasoning is the brochure's own: good personal hygiene is directly tied to preventing transmissible disease, and the category has moved from a pandemic-era necessity to a permanent part of the shelf. It sits alongside the beauty halls rather than in a separate hall, so a pharmacy buyer or a distributor can cover both in one pass.

What the showcase covers

Products

Personal hygiene products

The consumable side: what a pharmacy, supermarket or distributor puts on the shelf, and what a salon or clinic uses in the treatment room.

  • Hand sanitiser gels
  • Sterilised hand gloves, respirator masks, protective clothing and gowns
  • Lotions and creams, facial wipes and facial wash
  • Cleansing water and cleansing jellies, skin hydration products
  • Oral, body and hair hygiene products, and intimate hygiene
  • Body disinfectant solutions and anti-bacterial skin wipes
  • Organic skin products, natural extracts and sea-salt skincare

Supply

Hygienic technology and certification

The part of the category that is bought by manufacturers and institutions rather than by a shopper.

  • Hygienic technology and application systems
  • Packaging and dosing equipment
  • Laboratories
  • Research centres
  • Product testing and certification

Who the show is for

Buyers

The people who stock the shelf

The show is built around the buying chain that puts a brand in front of the consumer in East Africa.

  • Distributors and wholesalers
  • Private label buyers
  • Retail chains and discount stores
  • Department stores and cosmetics chain stores
  • Pharmacies, home stores, online stores and duty-free

The trade

The people who recommend and supply

Alongside them, the professional and supply side: the people whose recommendation moves a product, and the businesses behind it.

  • Salon and spa owners, hairdressers
  • Dermatologists and estheticians
  • Manufacturers and exporters
  • Press and media
  • Trade associations
